Meet Nadja

Hi, I am Nadja, a former Senior Executive at the world’s largest crisis management organization, NATO.

I am also a burnout survivor, a resilient human and a creative writer passionate about painting people’s emotions through the written word!

My mission is to help you achieve Success with Serenity by maximizing your emotional intelligence so that you can excel in all areas of your life with peace of mind!

I am happily divorced (yes, you read that right!) and my greatest gift in life is my six-year-old son Adam. We live our potential every single day and enjoy each moment of our human experience in the 21st Century.

I co-authored the best-selling book, 20 Beautiful Women Volume Six, where I shared my journey of belonging growing up as an Empath.

In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing, meditation and I try very hard to exercise some of the most complex yoga poses!

I am Dutch; I was born with my heart on my sleeves, my soul on fire and a mouth I can’t control (well, I do control what comes out, but speaking truth to power for positive social change is essential to me).

I write about emotions and feelings, you know those things that make a lot of people uncomfortable in the digital age.

I help busy professionals maximize their emotional intelligence so that they can excel in all areas of their lives with serenity!

What does science say about me?

According to the world leading personality type assessment, Myers-Briggs, I am an idealist or an Introversion Intuitive Feeling Perceptive (INFP)! INFP is one of the sixteen personality types used in the publications of the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and is a rare personality type compromising 4% of the world’s population. INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine.

Now, what does this all mean? The idealist in a nutshell….

What do others say about me?

“While Nadja is not part of my staff, she has been exceptional in helping ensure that gender diversity and implementing gender perspectives becomes mainstream within NATO. She is a passionate individual with a clear vision and strong desire to help others. Nadja is an outstanding role model for other young female professionals who need the confidence boost to pursue their career ambitions in a male-dominated security environment.”
Ambassador Marriët Schuurman, former Special Representative for NATO Women Peace and Security, November 2016.
